Cosmoto does not directly collect personal information about individuals such as e-mail addresses, except when that information is knowingly provided to Cosmoto for collection.  Cosmoto receives, collects and stores online contact information of individuals who are 18 years of age or older when that information is knowingly provided by these adult individuals to Cosmoto.

Cosmoto's third party servicers collect non-personal information and personal information as referenced below.  Cosmoto has access to some, if not all, of this non-personal information and personal information.

Cosmoto is hosted on the Wix.com platform.  Wix.com Ltd.  ("Wix.com") provides Cosmoto with this online platform that allows us to provide activities and content to you.  Your data may be stored through Wix.com's data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.  Wix.com represents that it has its own third party partners including, but not limited to, Google Analytics, and they process, utilize or track your personal information (such as your e-mail address) and/or data.  Google LLC, which services and provides Cosmoto's e-mail domain, may also store, process, utilize or track your personal information (such as your e-mail address) and/or data.   Google LLC, Wix.com and/or Wix.com's third party partners may collect information such as details regarding a browser session, your IP address, geo-location, device unique identifier or which page you are visiting on our website.  Any of these third parties and/or their partners may have their own policies regarding how they collect and share information.

 

Note that while Cosmoto may reference third party websites or content, Cosmoto is not responsible for any third party content and/or its websites' privacy practices and/or representations.  We encourage you to be aware of the privacy statement of each of these websites before providing your personal information to Cosmoto.

Security:

Wix.com, which provides Cosmoto with its online platform, represents that it stores your data on secure servers behind a firewall, has implemented security measures to protect personal information, including physical, electronic and procedural measures (e.g., HTTPS secure access, regularly monitors systems for possible vulnerabilities).  Google LLC represents that it uses encryption to keep data private while in transit and has a range of other security features, reviews practices and measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, and has restrictions on access to personal information.

Cookies:

 A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer or device.  Cosmoto does not  track personal information through the use of cookies.  However, Cosmoto's third party servicers, such as Wix.com and/or Google LLC, do place cookies or utilize other tracking technologies through our services and may have their own policies regarding how they collect and store information.  Such third party practices are not covered by Cosmoto's privacy policy and Cosmoto does not have control over them.  If you want to delete or block cookies, you can refer to the help and support area on your internal browser for instructions on how to do so.

Children:

Cosmoto is designed for use by an adult parent or legal guardian (referred to also as "parent") who is monitoring and approves of their child's activities on or through this site at all times.  Unsupervised children under 13 years old are prohibited from using this site.  Any and all communications with Cosmoto should be between Cosmoto and the adult parent of a child.  Cosmoto does not authorize and prohibits receiving from a minor/child any communication and/or information.

Cosmoto does receive the e-mail addresses of persons who are over 18 years of age who knowingly submit this information to Cosmoto, such as the e-mail address that a parent of a child knowingly submits to Cosmoto.  Cosmoto collects this online contact information to let a parent know about information and activities that are and/or will be available to a child on Cosmoto's site, and/or to subsequently update the parent about a child's participation in Cosmoto's site or online activities.  Online contact information from a parent will not be disclosed or used for any other purpose, except as otherwise stated or referenced herein.

If a parent's online contact information changes, or if a parent no longer wishes to allow his/her child to participate on Cosmoto's site, or if a parent wishes to delete contact information and use of that information, the parent should email us regarding the same at info@cosmotospace.org.
 

"Opt-In/Opt-Out" Elections:

If you give us permission, we may use online contact information of persons that are 18 years of age or older for Cosmoto's marketing and promotional purposes.  For example, on occasion Cosmoto may wish to send emails to inform adult users of new activities we think might be of interest to them.  You will not receive such communications unless you have willingly provided this online contact information.  In some cases, you will be required to "opt-in" by joining a newsgroup mailing list.  If you do "opt-in", you will always have the option to "opt-out" through instructions included within the body of the e-mail message.  If for any reason you do not wish to receive e-mail from Cosmoto, please follow the instructions for "unsubscribing" included within the body of the message that was sent to you.
